Travelling once again...

A couple of years ago me, my mom and cousins went to a Northern Luzon tour which became a very memorable experience. We were able to feel the sea on our feet while we slumber at the beach in Pagudpod, walk along the ancient path in Vigan, visit Balaurte and meet beautiful animals, was able to meet a very angry but beautifully formed tornado in Tuguegarao (yes! A tornado. Shocking isn't it?), ate a pinikpikang manok and climbed the famous Rice Terraces in Banaue and swam with my beatiful pig-dog anchang in Pangasinan...

But this post isn't about the Northern Luzon tour, I apologize, this is about our current whereabouts...Davao.

We are currently having our summer vacation here. A part of beautiful Mindanao where you can find lovely sarongs, heavenly fruits and a lot of new things you don't find in Manila. Example is Durian! Ugh I am not a big fan of that fruit. Whenever I come near that fruit it makes me want to take out my nose and hide it. But enough talk about durian...

I am here to talk about the places that we have been to since we got here.

First of all I would like to talk about how lovely Davao is hence the smell of Durian. The city of Davao is very clean unlike Manila, it is very similar to Singapore, a place that I also like. Even though I have been here for more than a week I still can't remember how to get to Abreeza (a mall, teehee) in any way.

The main thing I love about this place is that everything is affordable. Example of that is the tricycle...in Manila a tricycle ride will cost you about 35 to 40 pesos for a 100-150M ride unlike here in Davao or Mintal to be exact, from Mintal junction to deca homes phase 8 approximately 600m or more and it will only cost you 25pesos and that's good for 2. Amazing isn't it?! And another thing the fruits here are amazing and again super cheap which my mom LOVES by the way.

The thing I love about Davao is that you could actually be in Gen. San eating Tuna fresh from the sea in an hour or two. Or be in South Cotabato to visit Lake Sebu and their 7 falls and super cool Zip line. Or you could just stay in Davao and go to Samal island and relax at the beach. Or experience the Zorb (this is cool btw!) at the Crocodile Farm. There's a lot more to experience here in Davao and when we do experience them all don't worry I will be sharing them with you. So better pack your bag for a week or two and experience Davao too!

See ya!
